Service Description

This course is designed to educate investigators on the process of working through a criminal case from beginning to end. From the time the investigator starts to market to attorneys to the last day of the case when the instructor closes out a case or testifies in court there are lots of steps along the way. This course will outline the relationship with the client or attorney and the expectations within those roles. After starting the initial contact with the client this class will explain the importance of working through the review of findings, collection of evidence, locating and interviewing witnesses and suspects. The course will then focus on reporting the findings back to the client or attorney and preparing a report. In many cases the report is the final step for the investigator, but this course will also teach how to be prepared for court if the case goes to trial and how to testify professionally.
